On the nose, a young, elegant Merlot showing redcurrant, fruitcake, a touch of spice and cinnamon forest floor fruits, sweet beetroot tones and soft vanillin oak. Sourced from Blocks 2 and 52 from our Seven Scenes Vineyard, this is a unique Granite Belt regional Merlot style. Fruitdriven, with a rich, juicy, mid-palate of intense plums and rhubarb. Firm tannins with good intensity and well-balanced oak. Merlot has excellent tannin structure, very well integrated across the palate.
